THE SEASON 2001.

In the paper 'DE REISDUIF' stood:

"AN OUTSTANDING SEASON ON THE LONG DISTANCE RACES FOR JOS AND JAN LOOBUYCK, CROWNED WITH 1st PROVINCIAL & 2nd INTERNATIONAL MARSEILLE"

Everything goes very well from the start. The Pursang already won the first price of Arras. The 26 old flyers and 12 yearlings did several sprint-races before they participate the middle long distance races. There they won 1st Vierzon and 1st Chateauroux. And then Brive came…
From this flight on the old widowers are divided in little groups.

You can see that Barcelone, Marseille, Dax and Beziers were very good.

Some highlights were Barcelona, Marseille, Dax en Beziers.

From Barcelone the old Peiren came the first. Then came a son of the national "Perigueux", "the Beauty" en then "the Catteeuw".What a triumph!!

"The Beauty" won also Poitiers and Brive in 2001by ten.

For Marseille we choose two brothers from "the Perigueux". It wasn't a disappointment because " the Pursang" was nearly the first national and international. His brother "the Knappen" came also the same day at home. "The Zombie", who had already a fantastic career as a six-year old, came the day after but he was wounded.

For Dax we took the youngest brother from "the Perigueux" and "the Pursang" and he won the honorary price! The others were too late and didn't get a price.

But for them it was an experience for later.

At Beziers a son from the "117-98" won the honorary price. The "117" is a real brother from the "Redbull". The second pigeon is a descendant from the race Waerniers x daughter Perigueux. Both of them stayed at Bellem when they were young and thanks to them we won the fond championship at Ruiselede.

OTHER TOPPERS.

THE "4162747/94" OR THE "PEIREN BARCELONA".

This pigeon had a 10 times a classification on national flights. The best result was the 118th at  Barcelona national 13.161 pigeons. Also to remember : 146th Brive national  5736 p., 71th Brive national 2589 p., 589th Narbonne national 7325 p., 1703th Barcelona national 13.966 p. 723th Cahors national  11.838 p. 894th Brive national 6793p.  Now he stays at the breeding loft.    

The "4620026/95" OR BERKE.

This picture is of the beginning of his carreer. Four times he was in the top 100 national!

Also on national flights he had 12 times a price.

THE "4251160/95" OR "THE ZOMBIE" ( RACE SON GOLDEN COUPLE X COMYN)

On national flights he had 13 times a price! To remember is the 40th national Dax 4066 p. He had also a first price at Chateauroux from 556 p. (11th provincial 4329 p.). Now he stays also on the breeding loft!

THE "4140418/96" OR "THE PANTANI".

A marvellous pigeon. Look at the picture! We lost him because of the bad weather at Montauban.

THE "4261200/97" OR SON "JABBEDABBEDOE" X "GYSELBRECHT".

This pigeon won 2 times per ten from Barcelone. In 1999 he won  416th national from 13.966 pigeons (10th local  464 pigeons). And in 2000 he won the 729th national 13.659 pigeons (36th local 504 p.)
